Auditors of Units 1, 2, 3 and 5
Auditor status is available under the following two criterion...
- You may register as an auditor if you are unable to meet the course’s audition or observation requirements.
- If you register as a participant in a course with your audition qualifications pending you will automatically be enrolled as an auditor until the you have been cleared by the SAA. We will inform you of your status as it changes.
The following describes the limitations of auditors...
- Auditors may only observe their registered teacher training class in addition to all student activities and concerts.
- Only with the permission of the instructor should the auditor be allowed to play with the other members of the class.
- As an audtor you may not register the course with the Suzuki Association of the Americas.

- Out of respect to the other participants and the trainer, auditors must meet the attendance requirements of the class.
Festival Participation
As a Participant or Auditor you are also free to observe recitals, lectures and other events while at the Festival. Admitance to some of the concert offerings require additional fees.
We are asking that all trainees, as part of the training experience, be willing to volunteer to assist in various Festival functions such as recitals and other performances. This will include responsibilities such as help in tuning and making announcements.
Finally, all teacher participants are asked to perform with the children and teachers in the final, Gala Concert. For this reason we are asking you to bring with you concert dress appropriate for this occasion. This will include dark slacks or skirt and white shirt or blouse and dark (not atheletic) shoes. Men are also asked to wear a tie.
