Showcase Concert provides wheels for children in need
April 10, 2008 : We are especially happy to announce that Flores Guitars has donated $450 in sponsorship of the Showcase Concert.

Ben, one of Mr. Longay's students helped remind us of the incredible impact that we all can make in aiding others in need. His love of guitar and his desire to help Iraqi children through his music is truly inspirational.
The Festival is happy to help Ben with his undertaking of supporting children in need. A portion of the proceeds from the Showcase Concert will be contributed to this noble cause on Ben’s behalf.

NEW! Music in Motion
April 17, 2008 : We have added a new elective which explores the elements of music – dynamics, tempo, pitch, form, phrasing and more – through creative movement! In a safe and inviting environment suitable for all levels of movers and non-movers alike, we will experience music through creative movement, exciting props, the use of artwork, folk-dancing, body percussion and more. The offering, preseted by Kristin Allen, is available to parents and students.
Kenny Hill Donates a very special instrument
April 4, 2008 : We are especially grateful to the Hill Guitar Company, Inc. for the generous contribution of a georgeous new Torres Model 63cm Guitar towards sponsorship of the William Kanengiser Masterclass and Concert. The instrument is unique in that it is a replica of a Torres FE–18 model guitar. It possesses a remarkably powerful, full–bodied tone.
