An Introduction to Suzuki Education | the Suzuki Association of the Americas
Every Child Can! is a six-hour introduction to Dr. Suzuki's philosophy and its application to Suzuki education as created and implemented by the Suzuki Association of the Americas. For parents, teachers, perspective teachers and interested professionals, this new course provides an inspiring, in-depth look at the Suzuki approach to teaching and learning.
You must sign up for this seminar when you enroll.
Pickin’ n’ Grinnin’
Be the life of the party! Learn to play the guitar! Learn to play simple accompaniments to popular and folk tunes like Polly Wolly Doodle All the Day. You do have to practice a bit each day outside the class period.
NEW! Music in Motion!
Explore the elements of music – dynamics, tempo, pitch, form, phrasing and more – through creative movement! In a safe and inviting environment suitable for all levels of movers and non-movers alike, we will experience music through creative movement, exciting props, the use of artwork, folk-dancing, body percussion and more. Perfect for children, parents, teachers, therapists, educators and anyone who works with children and/or adults.
Free Time or Parents Night Out
Free Time One afternoon (and evening) during the festival we will offer "free time" in order for all of us to relax and enjoy each others company. There are a number of fine restaurants and other types of venues nearby for you and your family.
Parents' night out Take some time out with your partner while we entertain the children with a movie or other music related activity from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. There is a minor charge to you for child care service for which you may sign up for at the venue.
