LCG offers instruction for all levels by the highest possible educational standards. It gives us pleasure to offer our teen oriented program for those young people in persuit of an enjoyable exploration of this noble and beautiful instrument.

Also, it is well known that the refined technical abilities acquired through the study of the classical guitar enhances the ablility to play in any style including rock, folk or pop.
Private lessons are scheduled as 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions per week. The exact schedule is arranged with the instructor.
You have the choice of two different tracks for lessons. Establishing clarity about the intent for studying classical guitar beforehand is helpful in creating an enjoyable and productive relationship between the student and the instructor.
In addition, the school continues to feature master-classes with world renowned artists such as David Russell, George Sakellariou, Roland Dyens and Scott Tennant!
Christopher Mallett is gaining recognition as one of America’s promising up and coming classical guitarists whose style has been called “Mesmerizing” by the Oberlin Review
Christopher began playing guitar at the age of 13. Since then, he has earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music where he studied with Stephen Aron and a Master’s Degree from the Yale University School of Music under the guidance of Benjamin Verdery on a full–tuition scholarship. Christopher has been Awarded Several prizes including the Eliot Fisk Prize for “outstanding guitarist” from Yale University.

The Conservatory is pleased to present the following offerings to broaden your musical foundation.
